This year I have three great friends who are running for public office. Karl Hanlon, my long-time legal partner, is running for Congress to unseat Scott Tipton. Colin Wilhelm, a colleague in the Garfield County legal community and golfing buddy, is running for state House District 57. Paula Stepp, a long-respected community member who has so generously donated her time to make our Valley a better place, is running for the Garfield County Commission.

Each of these candidates is committed to restoring dignity and integrity to our public institutions, standing up for the things that make Western Colorado special, and restoring public trust that our various levels of government work for the people – not special interest!

I am hosting a meet and greet event for these great candidates at my house on Thursday, March 29 at 5:30. There will be wine, beer and light refreshments. Most importantly, you will have a chance to ask the candidates questions. I think you will quickly understand why I passionately support Karl, Colin and Paula in their campaigns.
